Abstract:
The modern world is undergoing transformation, but the contours of these transformations are not always clearly visible, which is determined not only by the objective complexity of the processes under consideration, but also by the lack of adequate explanations for the changes taking place in mainstream socio-economic knowledge. As a result, the number and complexity of global problems are only growing, confronting humanity with an existential choice not only regarding the path of further development, but also the possibility of existence. The paper outlines the main ideas of an alternative path of civilizational development based on the theory and methodology of the author’s concept of noonomy. The main features of this concept are revealed, the mechanisms of its influence on the transformation of the socio-economic system are shown, and the prerequisites, stages, and factors determining the speed and other characteristics of the nootransition, as the process of transition of the modern organization of society to noonomy, are identified.
