Abstract:
this article has outlined answers to two questions significant for the further development of the theory of noonomy: the logic of the transition to noonomy and the essence of noonomy itself. The logic of the transition to noonomy requires an appeal to the tradition of social systems theory in social philosophy. Its main ideas were outlined through a brief analysis of the works by T. Parsons (developments from Marxist and post-Marxist thought were also drawn upon). Thanks to the social systems theory, it becomes clear why the four fundamental processes called by S. Bodrunov the "quadriga" of the transition to noonomy, have a strictly defined content, as established by S. Bodrunov himself, and also why there are four of these processes. As for the essence of noonomy itself, it can be further elucidated using the methodology of dialectical logic, discovered by E. Ilyenkov and explained by his followers. Noonomy, which combines both economic and non-economic characteristics, requires a synthesis of fundamental philosophical paradigms — materialism and idealism—to be fully understood. This synthesis, which must be realized not only in theory but also in practice — that is, in people's worldviews, as they gain social experience in overcoming the contemporary systemic and global societal crisis—will enable us to speak of genuine human transformation — a "transition from 'zoo' to 'noo,'" in the words of S. Bodrunov
