Abstract:

The factors determining the personnel component of industrial policy in current conditions of economic turbulence and the formation of a post-economic society are considered. The guidelines for the balanced support of industry from the field of education, the relationship between knowledge and practice in real production, as well as their dialectical mutual influence are discussed. The assessment data by the industrial enterprises of St. Petersburg of the level of training of graduates of St. Petersburg higher and secondary vocational educational institutions, changes in such an assessment in recent years are presented. As a result of the acceleration of scientific and technological progress, three foreseeable directions for industrial production development are proposed.
